NEWS & INFORMATION
April 24, 2016 is Corrosion Awareness Day (http://corrosion.org/). Corrosion of metals on aircraft, spacecraft and launch structures presents cost and safety risks for NASA and Department of Defense (DoD) missions as well as to the aerospace industry. Costs associated with fighting corrosion in the U.S. are estimated at $276 billion/year. ITB manages a number of corrosion related projects for NASA, DoD, the European Space Agency, and commercial partners. September 2, 2015 – ITB receives Small Business Minority Owned Certification from the City of Orlando
April 11, 2015 – ITB receives a subcontract award with Energy Florida for technical support on a Hydrogen Fuel Cell Test Hub
January 2015 - ITB is awarded an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract potentially worth $30 million to support agency-wide efforts to reduce the environmental impact of NASA activities and improve energy conservation. Under the contract, ITB engineers and program staff will support NASA energy and water conservation, monitoring studies, interagency working groups, programmatic environmental assurance and green engineering advancement.
